Just bought Canon Power Shot A2500. What do I need to get photos from camera to computer? Do I need a memory card also?
Thanks!
(Walmart said I needed a Targus Card Reader/Writer, which i got, but how to plug in????) What does it do?
Thanks for your question about the Canon digital Powershot A2500. There are several ways to copy images from a camera to a computer. You can tether your Powershot A2500 directly to your computer or you can remove the memory card from your A2500 and use a card reader.
Best thing to do with any new camera Pat is to read the manual, particularly if you are UN-familiar with uploading and downloading.
The www.usa.canon.com web site is always a source.
You can copy and paste this address into your browser: http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/8/0300010628/01/psa2500-cu-en.pdf and read the pdf manual. You can also use the USB port to transfer images as well.
Good Luck,
